This past quarter has been an exceptionally busy time for me at work. I
couldn't understand why I have been feeling so behind in my projects
until I reviewed my calendar and realized that between team offsites and
conferences and trainings and all-day meetings, I haven't been in my
office more than 2-3 days a week since Labor Day.

When I
first moved in with my significant other, we wanted to be optimistically
cautious. What I mean by that is live together but not get rid of our
belongings until we were at a point, which we were certain our
relationship was solid. We decided to rent a storage locker to store our
duplicates and any other items we “might” need in the future.

Picking
up and leaving really addresses the issue of clutter. When my husband and
I decided to leave our Ontario life for a new one on the west coast, we were
overwhelmed by the sudden realization of how much ‘stuff’ we actually had.
After living together for four years, we had accumulated a plethora of
