Question
I have been with my employer a number of years now and we have a good working relationship. I have decided that I really need to move on, to stretch my horizons. I feel very ambivalent whenever I decide to talk to him about it. What should I do to get going on this?

Question
My office is cluttered with papers, bills, equipment, throw in a few kids toys and you don’t have an ‘ideal’ working environment – where should I start when I finally get to organize my office?

Question
Hi Linda, Last month I wrote in asking how to manage all of my priorities, with the top two (my family and work) taking a majority of my time. You suggested that I carve out an hour a week for just ‘me’. I have to admit that this was a foreign concept these days. With your encouragement I am pleased to say that I have managed to take that one hour a week for me. I took your advice and am using my hour to attend an exercise class! Since I work at home, it’s been a great treat just to get out of the house, and not only that I can already feel my body changing, my energy increasing, and my mind starting to refocus. When scheduling that hour for myself that I really had to look at what I wanted to do and realized that the best thing for myself would be to remove myself from my everyday environment – away from my computer, my animals, my husband, my kids, my chores – and really enjoy the time dedicated to me.

Now that I have the time allotted to myself, how do I devote time to things that are lower down on my list?

Question
My top priorities are my family and my work - keeping a clean and organized house comes in a distant third; time for others and myself comes in even further down the list.  With my top two priorities taking up so much of my time, how do I work my way down the list?

Question
You work with people on the phone and talk about clutter when you can't see their environment?

Question
I am traveling a great deal by car and air for my work and find that I am feeling tired and finding myself quite disorganized in my thinking and in my work. Any tips to help me through this?

Question
What have you discovered to be one of the most difficult pieces of clutter to manage or eliminate in your life? How did you manage or eliminate it in your life and what did you learn in the process?

Question
I'm just in the process of going through an amicable divorce and am wondering about some steps that would be helpful to clear the emotional clutter, not to mention the physical.

Question
On our coaching calls you frequently talk about how we choose and use words. Why?
